The ancient art of Quilling, also known as paper filigree, uses narrow strips of paper which are rolled, shaped and then glued together to form designs. Our April Flowers workshop students will learn how to make the basic shapes paper filigree circles, marquis, tear drops and open swirls and then glue to a given flower pattern to make the flowers shown in the kit they will receive in class. Students will receive all materials needed to complete items in a kit. This kit is available to students for a small fee. Please note, if you wear glasses for reading, please bring them. This class meets in the Photo & Digital Arts Studio on the lower level of the Education Wing.
