The Cultural Center of Cape Cod is committed to showing art that inspires thought, creativity, and action!

The Cultural Center’s exhibition program is a venue for interesting, innovative and experimental art embedded in world-class, historic, and community-driven spaces on Cape Cod. We encourage artists and curators to fully activate spaces by thinking “beyond the walls” and
collaborating to engage the community, through screenings, artist talks, performances, or workshops.

We have two physical locations; one is our historic Bass River Arts Campus in South Yarmouth, and the other is our HyArts Programming Annex in Hyannis. The Center also has many (“non-gallery”) spaces, including, but not limited to, classrooms, stairwells, hallways, porches, and gardens.

We encourage interested artists and curators to explore previous exhibitions, installations, and the ongoing programming of the Center or visit the space in person. Please get in touch with exhibitions@cultural-center.org with any questions about the proposal process or details.

All submissions will be seriously considered, and applicants are highly encouraged to submit proposals that speak to the unique character of its spaces and/or regional communities. Proposals for these spaces may function separately or in conjunction with the main gallery space as traditional temporary exhibitions or installations.
