Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/.  After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

If you use a contact form on this website, we collect the information you provide so that we can respond to your request. This information may be retained indefinitely.

We are not sharing your data with anyone except as necessary to provide the services you requested.  If making purchases on our website, your credit card information is directly submitted to, and securely retained by Authorize.Net a leading credit card processor. Authorizenet is a wholly owned subsidiary of Visa Corporation (NYSE: V) whose Privacy may be seen here.  Our website does not retain any credit card information except for the name, address, phone number of the card holder, last four digits of the credit and and the expiration date of the card at the time of purchase. This information including what you ordered may be retained indefinitely for accounting and tax reporting purposes.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. We store no credit card info on our site and your name, address, phone number and email address you have provided to us is only available to our management by entering username and password and access is secured with a secure socket layer or SSL.

What data breach procedures we have in place

All pages of our website are encrypted end to end using SSL. We have continuous monitors and anti-hacking software in place to detect and prevent illegal intrusion. These systems immediately advise our web hosts of all attempted breaches or and attempts of improper access to our website. Someone attempting to access the site 5 times in a row with invalid ]credentials is automatically blocked unless we manually unblock.
