“See What I Mean?,” the paintings of Ric Haynes and photography by Mark Chester.
The exhibition will be presented in the Education Wing from May 17-June 25.
The Cultural Center will host an opening reception on Thursday, May 26, 5-8pm.
The See What I Mean exhibition brings together the work of two CapeCod artists, the colorful paintings of Mashpee artist Ric Haynes, and the black-and-white images of Woods Hole photographer Mark Chester.
While each artist understands the meaning of their respective imagery, the question is posed to the viewer to interpret the images in their own imagination.
What one sees is up for personal interpretation. Everyone sees something different looking at artworks on a wall. There is no right or wrong interpretation in these poignant and whimsical renderings. Look! Do you see what I mean?
