A poetic 'call to action' and the context of so many of the excited messages, texts, and calls to loved ones on the way to the Cape. Especially so in the summer, in anticipation of those precious times we gather for unforgettable memories in this magical land. This exhibition aims to convey those emotions.

"It was important to have the first summer show at the Guyer Art Barn reflect our Cape Cod vibe – hence the title, “Call Me When You Get Over the Bridge,” So many people relate to this phrase and get a kick out of it as a title for an exhibition. It was challenging jurying and piecing together a cohesive, fun and thoughtful collection. We chose only 36 wonderful pieces of art out of a total of 153. So highly selective due to the space at the barn, but also to keep it meaningful and relating to the subject."
