RISE AND SHINE

The Rise and Shine program is truly a remarkable initiative that provides young people at risk with invaluable opportunities to learn, grow, and express themselves through the arts. Whether it's taking part in classes, workshops, or mentoring sessions, participants are given the tools and guidance they need to develop their skills and explore their passions. In addition to the art programs offered by Rise and Shine, social workers are also working with at-risk kids to provide support and guidance. These professionals play a vital role in helping young people overcome challenges and achieve their goals. If you know a young person who could benefit from this kind of support, we encourage you to reach out to our team and learn more about how we can help. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.

It's heartening to see that the program has been able to thrive thanks to the support of individuals, corporations, and foundations, as well as the Massachusetts Cultural Council and Local Cultural Councils. Their contributions have enabled the Cultural Center to hire qualified artist-teachers who can offer their expertise and inspire the next generation of artists.

If you're interested in learning more about Rise and Shine, or would like to get involved by booking a workshop, engaging a mentor, or donating to the program, please contact our Director of Learning Diane Giardi at dgiardi@cultural-center.org. We encourage you to support this wonderful initiative in any way you can, as it truly has the power to change lives.
