RISE & SHINE
"All week I so look forward to being here because it’s the only time I’m completely relaxed. It helps me so much.”
- Riverview Student
Our Rise & Shine initiative supports arts programming for Cape Cod adults and youth living with a disability, a mental health challenge, or facing financial or housing insecurity. We provide free group and one-on-one art classes to individuals and community partners with funding from the Massachusetts Cultural Council, local cultural councils, foundations, and individual donors.
Our partnerships include Cape Abilities, Community Connections, the Latham School, Alzheimer's Association of Cape Cod, Moving Forward, the Riverview School, Barnstable Public Schools, Dennis-Yarmouth Pathways to Independence, the Children's Place, Vinfen, Independence House, and individuals introduced to the Center through educators, parents, and other agencies.
With your support, we can continue to provide these programs to those who need them the most.

If you're interested in learning more about Rise & Shine, or would like to get involved by booking a workshop, engaging a mentor, or donating to the program, please contact our Director of Education Christine Ernst at ChristineE@cultural-center.org.
We deeply appreciate financial support from many local cultural councils, including: Eastham Cultural Council, Harwich Cultural Council, Mid-Cape Cultural Council, and Sandwich Cultural Council.
