Cultural Center Hosts Prestigious “For Pastels Only” Exhibition

Bass River, MA – June 26th The Cultural Center of Cape Cod is proud to present the annual For Pastels Only (FPO) exhibition, a celebrated juried showcase hosted by the Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod [ https://ppscc.org ]. Open to the public, this dynamic exhibition highlights the brilliance of pastel art and features the work of distinguished artists from across the U.S. and internationally.

“It’s incredibly rewarding to witness the level of talent across this year’s pastel submissions. We’re celebrating not only what pastels can do as a medium, but also the artists whose visions shine on the walls and today’s collectors who embrace them,” said Molly Demeulenaere, Executive Director of the Cultural Center of Cape Cod.

Held at the Cultural Center in South Yarmouth, the exhibition provides pastel artists a professional platform to exhibit and sell their work while offering audiences a rare opportunity to explore the versatility and luminosity of pastel as a fine art medium.

The Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod’s 29th Annual National Juried Exhibition, For Pastels Only 2025 (FPO), promises to be a spectacular showing of pastels from some of the best pastel artists in the world. This is a tough exhibit to be accepted into and worth seeing! We are excited to have Frederic Boyle, accompany the opening reception and awards presentation at the Cultural Center of Cape Cod which is free and open to the public,” said Cheryl Wildermuth, Co-President of the Pastel Painters Society and Co-Chair of For Pastels Only.
